Salma Yaqoob is a councillor for Birmingham Sparkbrook ward and the Respect Party prospective parliamentary candidate for the Birmingham Hall Green constituency.
In the 2005 General Election, Salma almost won with 10,498 votes.
Lib Dems trailed in THIRD and Conservatives FOURTH.
Only Salma can beat Labour in Birmingham Hall Green!
Salma is standing BOTH in the local council ward election (for councillor) and the national parliamentary General Election (for MP).

Rana Nazir
Rana Nazir is an Engineering Consultant and ex-student union president.
She lives locally in Hall Green and is standing for councillor of her ward in the local council elections on May 6.
“I am supporting residents to oppose the cowardly Lib Dem-Tory council job cuts which are threatening the library and local Park Rangers,” explains Rana.
